ok...time for a new rig, my gk800 (an original from the early 80's) finally blew another transistor for the last time...gave it away to a young kid who wants to try and fix it...decided to sell my cabs as well, never crazy about them (hartke xl series 410,210,115)...anyway went to a couple of different local shops and started playing...
always wanted an svt-3pro with the 410hlf...and its great, but damn its heavy (ive already talked myself down from the svt4 and 810)
then i tried the Markbass CMD 102P and i loved the sound and weight...trying like hell to get over the "tiny rig" complex that i think ill have...never considered a combo but then i tried the SWR redhead and that was nice too...like that i can add an extension cab as well
anyway, two questions for my peers...
what size venue can the 102p fill?
anyone heard the ba600? that might be the right solution
