Just saw this get announced, looks like more Geddy flavors are headed our way!

Looks like a tweaked version of the original YYZ pedal with the addition of a boost footswitch as well as a shape shifter button which I imagine would make for an EQ shift of some sort.

Estimated availability of March 2022. As a big fan of the original YYZ, color me interested!

True! Great tactic for driving up sales, I suppose. Happy with my Oxford but this looks interesting. Still haven't tried the OG YYZ though.. this holiday gas is really something else lol

$269 seems wildly out of line for this pedal. I'll wait till they inevitably end up on the used market.

The YYZ was around $200-220 when first released. All things considered, $269 doesn't seem that wild. Looking forward to some Tim demos

Now give me a 'Power Windows' pedal that makes any bass sound like that Wal and I'm all over it!

The "Tight" button is on the original YYZ too, so should be able to find a demo of it.

Absolutely.

The boost stomp switch provides a 12dB presence boost for increased top-end distortion. Additionally, engaging the Shape-shifter button gives you 6dB of "Schmegilka" on top, which, according to Geddy, "is an indefinable thing of awesomeness!"
