As for the pictured bass, I'm not a fan of the non-continuous pickguard at all.

i know its just a habbit from other forums where there are no signatures. i just always do it now as all my user names have "lowsound" in them somewhere. 12,000 posts on a different forum doing it all the time kinda developes into a habbit

not a bad bass at all.
i played it once at a local store, nice tone but i felt it was a bit too chunky for me though. that said i'm in love with Tbirds...
passive EMG's and an active eq, not bad at all...
