Hi all--I acquired this Dano in about 1990 at Mr Music, in Allston Rock City. I've been exploring it since then and it's become an integral part of my approach to improvising on electric bass.
I have been able to prepare a couple of repertoires for solo concerts here and there, but not much that I've documented. Starting to remedy that on my BC page.
I'll do installments on this series here and there. The current theme is the sonic possibilities of this incredible little bass, with much of this crop of improvisations focusing on pure sound.
Future editions will get into some compositions, maybe more melodic work: the DANO does it all. Enjoy!
