Yeah, Spitfire is the way to go if you want tort. Modern salami mainstream tort looks horrible and nothing like the 60s tort. I got one for my "forever" P bass because it earned it - modern mainstream tort doesn't even come close to the vibrancy, colors and speckle of Spitfire.
