Yes! This was the one thing I was hoping to see from 2019 summer namm.
I'm not going to hesitate this time. I clicked on the 'Notify me when in stock' tab.
I missed out on the Vintage Modified Mustangs when they were available several years ago.
There's a bit of a price increase at $349.99 compared to $279.99 when the VM's were available,
but this new one is a Classic Vibe model too. Not sure what the difference is, but the new ones look really good to me:

Well, the P/J Mustang is made in Mexico, and the Classic Vibe Mustang is made in Indonesia, so you should be able to get one right across the street.

Might get one, love the surf green. I was really hoping to see a 70s Mustang with the body contours and racing stripes too. They have done the 60s Mustang so many times now and we will have what? 4 of them now between Squier and Fender? Give us a 70s Mustang already!

My positive experiences with my Traveler TB-4P lead me to believe that the Mustang would work very well re-engineered as a medium-scale (32") bass (but with a conventional headstock):

Crazy that the Squier Mustang has the authentic style pickups while the Fender model doesn't.
