UPDATE: Played this new rig through a 3-hr rehearsal at a good volume and it sounded GREAT. Just like I had hoped: big, punchy, just the right amount of roundness and clarity. Way better than the 2x15 fridges of yesteryear. The WA is the perfect amp for these speakers - I didn't even feel the need to hook up my BB preamp (though my VT Bass went on and stayed on). Very happy!
