Man you are so lucky. These basses are hard to come by and are sooo utilitarian. Have fun playing this beast and don't let her go!
Love it! I've got one in my sights right now but a few other things got in the way. I keep telling myself - someday...
Excellent! Don has the goods. I'm glad he got you a good one. My XL2 will stay with me until the end also.
Don sold me a Steinberger in '89! he is an authority,.. congrats! my XL2A is STILL my "go-to" for live shows.

Don G. is a great guy and VERY knowledgeable on the Steinberger line (especially the older stuff!). He and I met several times for pizza and tradin' in Poughkeepsie.
