Double Bass New stool

So my graduation party was yesterday and my step dad said for my present I could pick out any new stool I wanted. I asked him what the price range was and he said just get the one I wanted, So I'm guessing 200-300 tops I don't want to take all his money. Any suggestions? P.S. It has to be portable too.

Is the trolley really worth the money? I really enjoy the idea of never having to carry my stool again but it's also a lot of money. With shipping it's a little shy of 450 dollars. Are there any other alternatives with the same idea?

The Double Trolley looks really great as a Trolley but as a stool I have some queries...Firstly, the foot rest isn't movable in height or placement, and the seat is really small. If you get the Trolley which I think is worth the money, considering you don't ever have to carry a stool again, you might consider buying a 20 dollar guitar foot rest and just bringing it with you.

Yeah my friend can get those foot rests for about a dollar since he works at a store that sells them. I thought about that too.

Here is what you do. Find some one selling a $80,000 bass. Convince them to throw in a stool. Then, convince your dad that it is a $80,000 stool that comes with a free bass.

I have a Roc-n-soc extended stool. I think I got it from Lemur. It has a wide, soft bicycle seat, a back (a must for sitting through long rehearsals) and a foor rest. I think it was around 300. I can sit on that thing for hours and be very comfortable.
