I like it. I seem to remember picking up a Godin guitar before and the build quality was very good. So I would have to give it a try-out before I frowned on the price, although the bass wood thing is kind of meh.

new strat bass anyone??!

I played one the other day... it was the cream colored one and it looked great in real life...it played well, had multiple tone options with the 3 pickups, but they were all in the same ballpark as far as frequency is concerned...I thought to myself "I would buy one for $400, but not $900" and went back to the Jazz Ive been drooling over...It really does look like a strat when you see it.
I just checked out the youtube clip and that thing gets a killer array of sounds out of those three pups and that 5-pos toggle.
It's enough to make me consider that configuration for my next build. Outside of the look, which I only find to be OK, it seems like quite a nice bass that could be used for all styles.
