I just bought new Harley Benton flatwounds and the A string is buzzing when played open, first and second fret. I have tried pushing down between the nut and the tuning peg and that did not help. Also tried putting pressure on the nut itself to see if it was too loose there but no help. The gauge of the string has also been increased by 0.05 and I changed from roundwounds to flats.
I am sure that the string is not touching the fret as I've raised the action and can see that they are not even close.
