Well, at the Nashville guitar show Saturday, I traded a cheapo guitar I didn't want for a Georg Hellmer(Framus) half-size bass. It fits in the car so nicely & seems to thump out purty good even though I'd say it definitely needs a new bridge!
Are my eyeballs deceiving me(I am getting old) or could this be a solid wood bass? It's post WWII because the paper tag is "made in West Germany". When I clear out another corner to put it in(a coupla days, at least, I'd guess) I'll do some photos. It came with a wacky little stick-on pup that's round, red perimeter & black center about the size of a quarter and about a quarter-inch thick. I've seen them before, but, no clue as to what brand. I traded an Epi Korina V that I had $300 in.
