New to me artcore atb140, e keeps going loose.?

Hi I just traded my sr640 for a atb140. I'm new to this style of setup on my bass (bridge etc.) it's tuned perfectly fine but my strong keeps loosening and buzzing? Any advice

Your string core is probably broken. Replace the string.

Cool thanks I will if it continues to loose tension, any idea off the top of your head if the semi hollow and solid body strings are interchangable?

Sure, scale length and gauge are the primary factors on string compability with magnetic pickups. Whether it's for semi hollow or solid doesn't matter, it's a different story for an acoustic though and piezos can kinda bounce between the two.
