new (to me) fender p question.

hey guys, I got lucky the other day and picked up a 1984 Japanese fender p. thing plays like a dream and sounds fricken awesome. also exciting is how clean it looks. its absolutely beautiful... except for a small hole on the back of the headstock... i am curious what you guys think it could be. its located in the center of the fender logo except on the backand it doesn't go all the way through. all the original hardware. what do you think?

it's probably a reissue bass, they used to put strap buttons there, believe it or not. congrats

+1

The Japanese vintage reissues are super nice basses.
