New to me Mike Lull M4V Fretless!

I have pined for Mike Lull basses for some time but never thought I would own one as they are just way out of my league. That didn't stop me from window shopping though... The recent batch #8 IMA4 drop included a one off vintage white stunner - an absolute dream bass but also extremely limited and way above my budget. There was a great condition 2007 fretless with a very similar look on Reverb I had eyeballed but it was still out of reach. I played fretless years ago but my bass was stolen and I never clicked with the replacement, so I "needed" an upgrade. I kept coming back to it and finally shot an offer last week for an amount I could choke down and low and behold it was accepted! This beauty arrived last Wednesday and oh man, she absolutely exceeded my high expectations! This bass was a pleasure to play immediately and I even took her on stage over the weekend... usually I have a break in period where I clean, re-string, set up, practice a lot, etc. but I was comfortable right away. Y'all, she sounds FANTASTIC and feels like a dream! I have some La Bella copper tapewounds I plan on putting on this week so she'll play even more like buttah. Many thanks to the great late Mike Lull for putting this work of art out into the world, the seller that worked with me to make it happen, and my wife for supporting my purchase. I'm am thrilled to be a member of the illustrious Lull owners' club!
