Anyone have any experience with this nifty gizmo? I just started reading the manual, I took it to practice and recordings sounded okay but you could tell we needed to customize some options.
My buddy has one he records practices and gigs with, it works really well for that. Very good sound, picks up bass quite well. You do need to experiment a little to find the sweet spot based on how your PA and amps are arranged.
Very cool device........................you say it picks up the bass well?...finally a recorder that does huh? where did you get this and how much was it?

RIGHT! LOL I got mine at guitar Center for $179 funny how all sources say "marked down from $279.99" Something funky happened though. It records bass great at practice however at our last house party the last few songs the bass came out very staticy and some times just a low vibration when I know I was playing something other than an open E. I think I need to mess with the options and maybe try to find a proper tripod for it, I just had it on the highest shelf so no one would spill beer on it... holy poopie though it picked up EVERYONES vocals as if they were into the mic.
