New toys this year. What and why?

So I was doing a round up of my new effect toys this year, as you can tell I like my toys cheap. There were others I tried and returned or flipped these were the keepers.

Zoom MS60B - used $50 - for an easy grab and go efx package really dig some of the sounz. Cuz I luv my Zoom pedals. This and a DI are all that is needed for the C&W gig.

Zoom FP02 - new $49 expression to use with the B3

Fuzzrocious BDPG.1 used and etched, to add some grit to my amp wanted one forever and this one was $100.

Fuzzrocious BDPG.2 new $165 my splurge, using it as a full on fuzz the output volume really makes it more useful.

Behringer. ADI21 new $30.00 to use with my abg, not the greatest but it worx

Behringer BLE100 new very cheep could not pass up at $9 shipped from MF. For the rare times I might want a comp this gets the job done, works especially well with my fretless.

Joyo California Sound - new $32. had to see what all the hype was about and I like it for my Tweety bass.

This is not all I got this year, but more of what's left after my binges:

Fdeck: Wow. Just wow. That's all I got to say.

MXR IsoBrick: very flexible quality powersource.

MS60B: 2nd tour of duty for this pedal. Here to stay, more usable for me with a looper pedal.

Boss LS-2: very useful support player, allows me to take the 60B out of the main chain, protects the bottom end and allows for better overall switching on/off and between fx patches. This pedal made it back after a 3 year absence, after I saw another TBer use it with a 60B.

VT Bass DI: another pedal on a 2nd tour of duty. Works very well with the Jazz, not so much with the T-Bird. Here to stay as well.

Boss GEB-7: another pedal on a 2nd tour, but will be short-lived. Is currently for sale.

So, only the TU-2 and LMB-3 have been on my board at the start of this yeae. They've actually been on it for the last 3 years and I don't have any plans to flip'em.

Other non-pedal additions: Epiphone T-Bird Classic PRO IV, Ampeg SVT7-PRO and Ampeg 410 Classic series HLF cab.

Plans for next year: get a 2nd MS60B to use as a preamp for the T-Bird and go wireless (Line6 G50).

All of my new stuff this year was studio gear. Mics, preamps, compressors, and such.

2015 for me was the year that I returned to gigging and playing regularly after about 8 years off. As a result I needed to reinvest in some gear.
Fender FSR Nitro Satin P Bass: My new #1
Diamond Compressor: Always on
Tone Hammer Pre-amp/DI: A recent addition and so far I really like it.

Plans for next year: I need a good backup amp, I was thinking a Rumble combo. Also a cheaper "spare" bass to keep around as a backup.

Plans for next year: I need a good backup amp, I was thinking a Rumble combo. Also a cheaper "spare" bass to keep around as a backup.

I had a 1st generation 350w 210 combo for a couple of years and although it sounded really good, I needed more power and upgraded to my current amp last fall, having also gotten tired of the Rumble's boomyness. So, I'd stay away from the 1st generation 350, but I'm told the newer ones (grey faced) are less boomy. Haven't tried one, though.
