New UL3 Series Cabinets from Epifani - Mega Thread !

The ul3 is the newest in the line up it just came out that 3 ten cab rocks I was able to grab one from namm it sounds amazing It already is sold here.is the 4 ohm 2 10 cab sound just as good they are making everything in Brooklyn all the ul3 stuff should be hitting the stores this march
Nice research my friend. We wanted to do Ceramic drivers for their sound and now, cost too, as Neo got overpriced. These Ceramic based UL3's sound like an Epifani should and we're really happy with the result. So UL3 is Ceramic, but as light as we could make them. Also, we kept the price similar to where we were before, but these are designed, tested and made in the US.
AL112C combos should ship early April to dealer that pre-ordered early enough. The aluminum work is done by the California factory that does the work for Tesla cars. We can't get you any package deals however.
Very beta. We are doing changes on the fly to get the info out as soon as we have it ready.
A UL3 with Neo's is in the design phase. We will make these as an option to the UL3 Ceramics. Both will exist at the same time. Some players will prefer the Ceramic sound, others, the Neo. Should be released by this Summer we hope. They will be a bit more expensive than the Ceramics.

I was wondering when Epifani was gonna get around to adding another cabinet to their lineup... having only FIFTEEN different permutations of bass cab seems woefully inadequate....
Im just pokin fun.... but seriously is it still the case that lots of the stuff listed on the Epi website had not ever actually been seen in the real world..... memory is hazy but I remember some thread a while back complaining about Epi "vaporware".
Looking at the website, a bunch of stuff that was on there a month or so ago is gone, and the bulk of the older cabinets are now listed as "limited availability"....I wonder whats up..... Overhaul? Outside Angel Investor? Buyout?

You are seeing the results of a few years of efforts showing up now. The company is mine and I'm running it every day. I think I have the best team with me now, so we are working hard at getting everything right.
Epifunky will be available in a few markets around the world where they established a following. DIST is a tech that will be incorporated into our 2 speaker lines - AL and UL3.
I haven't been on TB in ages, but I just recently started looking for a UL-110 to compliment my early series 2 UL-112. I looked on Epifani's website and TB to notice a whole lot of changes happened in 4-5 years. I'm just want a super-lightweight 2 cab rig for modularity between electric and EUB.
Namely, it seems that the UL-110 has been discontinued, and possibly replaced with the AL-110. It also seems that a hypothetical UL3-110 didn't make the cut into production. Is this a correct assumption?
What was even stranger is that a large big-box chain supplier for Epifani (I'm sure you can figure) is offering to re-stock the UL-110 for April which would be odd considering that it was marked here that the new UL3 series will ship starting from March.
Anyway, after all that research, I lucked out and found a nice floor-stock cab described as "T-110 UL" from a small high-end bass shop. That's how my early Series 2 UL-112 is marked on the backplate, so hopefully I'll be in luck with U.S. manufacture. I won't be able to really know until I get it early next week.

I'll be following reviews of hopefully how the new ceramic loaded speakers compare. I don't think non-Neo is any better or worse, just different characteristics. Well-designed ceramic-loaded cabs should still sound great.

Hi everyone, I've inquired with my local dealer about the Epifani UL310 cabinet, and the 5,3 ohm rating has me perplexed...if I used it with my Markbass F1, would the head work at 4 or 8 ohm, or would it be compatible with the cabinet at all?

You'll be fine to use the cab with that head, treat it like a 4 ohm cab & do NOT add another cab, just use the 1
