New user, gauging activity

New user popping in! I've been playing bass for 2 years coming up in December, I'm glad to say I'm no longer terrible at bass. :O

So, how active is this place? I've been browsing this place for a few days, though without watching a particular thread for a while, it gets hard to tell. Would you say this place is going strong? Dying out? Getting stronger?

I'd say it's a very active forum - each time you log on it tells you how many new posts there have been since your last login; I find myself getting on as much as three times a day and there's usually at least 1000 new posts every time I do, so at least 3000 posts a day.

Welcome aboard. There are some good lads. It's very USA centric, which has its pros and cons. Overall though, there are some great people and it is very active.

I'm a member of several forums, this one moves the fastest, without a doubt. I've started threads that have gotten over 100 responses in a single day. And that happens here frequently. Don't know any other forum that's quite as active.
