I’ve been playing acoustic guitar for a while and recently decided to give bass a proper go. For now, I’m working through the BassBuzz course and even practicing on the bottom four strings of my acoustic until I pick up a real bass.
My goal is to get to a solid “minimally competent” level so I can jump into jams and maybe join a group. I’ve already been invited to a veteran jam session, and I know bassists are always in demand, so I’m excited to see where this goes. I may also take my acoustic guitar, but we shall see.
Looking forward to learning, sharing progress, and soaking up all the advice I can from this community.
