Hi there, I just made my account here on TalkBass. :)

While I myself do not play bass, I've had nearly two years of verbal instruction from my fiance, who's a supporting member here and goes by the name of "ElBajista". I've been reading around a bit, in hope of better understanding the 90% of what comes out of his mouth.

Thought I should just introduce myself- -

:D I love you, Beautiful. Hey! I don't talk about bass.... that.... much....

P.S. Some info about the amazing woman that is my fiancee:
-She loves P basses, and will be getting an SX soon (mod time!)
-She is not only extremely supportive of my bass playing, but shares my love of music in general
-She patiently listens to all of my ramblings about types of basses, new models, different amps, and the like
-She just let me buy my new B100R!
-She loves my....erm....."technique" :eek:

Indeed, welcome! It's very good of you to make the extra effort to understand him, rather than blankly stare at him while he rambles about something that he's obviously very passionate about. Hopefully you gaining insight into his world will clear the way for him to spend gobs of your money on basses for all of us to vicariously enjoy! :p

No, no, you must always be faithful to the gear you already have. I'm sure it's in the Code of Bass Ethics somewhere..:)
