Double Bass New videos!

On asodb.org, Dr. Mark Morton has just posted my nine etudes from my Triangulation of Fingering Systems and a word of explanation is necessary. Etude #1 for example: The first section opens with studies and exercises covering the closed hand (1,2,4), the open hand (1,2,3,4) and the thumb positions above AND below the octave. AND only then are those basic techniques put into a musical setting as Etude #1.
That pattern follows for all 9 sections and etudes. No new techniques will suddenly appear in a melodic etude that have not all ready been covered in its preceding pages. Anyone playing or teaching from this book should really enjoy watching and listening to Mark perform them - free!
Again, go to asodb.org and hit the utube downloads. Enjoy!!
