Double Bass New Walter Woods Amp Purchases Anyone?

Hey all. Does anyone have a direct line to WW? Of my bass teachers is trying to reach him to have a repair made and the few numbers given to him were a bust. Thank you.

I only have 2 numbers and I think they are the few you have as busts.. and I have to go through paperwork to really find them too.. but If I do see them I'll post them..
I kinda am joking but I also just ordered it too.. haha.. but when I get it, want me to post up sound samples between the $95 cable and a random lower quality one I have?

I thought it was "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach him to fish and you've gotten rid of him for the whole weekend."
And to be consistent with TB and GAS: ... Teach a man to fish and he'll need rods, reels, creels, lures, tackle boxes, boats, beer carriers... The fly fishing fad is probably still in full swing if anyone needs to blow $2K on a custom rod.

Walter's amps have several things going for them, that isn't apparent until you do a deep dive into the way things work. Newer amplifiers are rated at 4 ohms while Walters are rated at 8.
This difference gives you more power into a 8 ohm cabinet through one of Walter's Amps. I hadn't really been concerned about this until I bought a MAS 4x5 recently, but you can hear
the difference. Another thing I've noticed over the years of owning a Woods is that as speaker technology improves the Woods always sounds distinctly better. Moving to the MAS and
combining it with the Ultra gets me a wonderful sound.

The combination of the Woods with Mikes MAS 4x5 is wonderful. There are three concert halls I perform in that are very difficut rooms. My new rig makes it easy peasy. One cab to rule them all!

I am scratching my head about these claims that cannot be reconciled with Ohm's laws: Not only does my WW put out 44% more power into 4Ω than 8Ω (450 vs. 650 on the Amber, and similar rations on all other WW amps), but I can read nowhere in WW's literature that his amps "gives more power into 8 Ohms".
Actually, it's always the opposite: Not only do all of WW's amps pump out more undistorted power when mated to a 4Ω load, but, at least that's my subjective impression, the amp sounds better and comes truly alive at 4Ω.

Sorry for the confusion, what I ment to say was that modern amps that are rated at 4 ohms produce less power into a 8 ohm load than the Walter Woods.

While the older Walter Woods MI series amplifiers were indeed Analog amps featuring a SMPS. Walters Electroacoustic Amp have both a SMPS and a Digital Power Amp.
