Markbass LM III for the nice, warmish tone and more power than I will ever need for the small gigs I do. Paired with a Sansamp BDDI and Berg HD112, I really like the tones I can get.

The only thing it cant do is fit in the pouch of my gig bag.
But at 48 pounds and two big handles I can carry it.

A G.K. MB2-500, and a "1984" G.K. 800RB.

Auditioned em' all at one time or another.....I always come back to that fast, punchy G.K. sound.

A lot of us (probably a small percentage) use TecAmp.

I play a PUMA 900 through a fEARful 12/6/1 and 12/sub stack.

I could only put 20 options down so I left it out. Wanted to include Warwick amps as well.

Couldn't have said it better myself. My favorite tone in the world comes from this amp and I'm lucky to own one! This amp running through my two GS 112's just makes me go, "MMMMMMMMM".

still, after 16 years, I'm starting to GAS for something different and a Streamliner may be in my future.

Genz Benz ShuttleMax 12.0 with NeoX 212. Great sounding amp and really lightweight for the power it produces.

Ampeg Micro VR with 210 cabinet.
Why? I was looking to upgrade from a behringer practice amp about a year after starting to play, and it was damn cool looking. Now I like the way it sounds too.
Hopefully i will have something different (read: louder) to report after Christmas.

GENZ BENZ - Great Customer Support. Amazing Tone, and exactly what works for me.
My STM-900 is perfect for my situation because of it's size and nice deep tone.

Jcm800 bass series into a ampeg 610hlf. Why because this amp responds to my playing just how i like it to. Lightly playing gets me a clean tone, while digging in makes the sound break up abit. But not too much.

I use a lot of different amps both all tube and transistor because I need to have a very wide pallet of colours so I can find something perfect for a very wide range of bass players that often fly in so can't always bring their own much loved gear.
PS What's source for the goose is not always source for the gander.

You gotta run the boost channel up north of noon to get some sizzle out of it! But compared to a vintage ampeg tube head, yeah, not the same. When I want retro, I step on a pedal. What do you do when you want uber-clean?

Yeah I used the boost quite a bit. Actually loved that feature a lot. I think I was just in need of some change, had been using gk for 5years. in fact i wish I still had the mb500(if even just as a backup head) to try it out with my diesel cab, cause it may have been my cab that didnt do it for me (Avatar 212neo which I got rid of as well). The v4b does clean enough for me (playing rock/alternative) until around 11oclock on the volume, but at that high its already loud as hell. Im looking to get another 115 to match with the one I have for more volume/efficiency/headroom.
