Hi everyone,
Well it finally has happened for me, I have the time in my life to commit, and the income, to learn how to play a bass guitar. I chose a bass to learn, well lol it felt right when messing around with it at guitar Center. I recently purchased a Fender American special 2010 Jazz model and a rumble 25 amp. The guitar is a used one but really looks flawless.
Now my son who is 14 has been playing on a fender the last few years and of course taking lessons. His model is an American Strat cant remember the exact model. So this new adventure is well family based you can say. I start my lessons this coming Monday.
I am REALLY REALLY PSYCHED!
I have some books on the way and have done some online reading and searches. I am really looking forward to this new adventure. I found this site through a google search and have been reading through some of threads.
My music tastes are centered around classic and new rock, metal, and some country to keep things interesting. Plus a little folk music.
