newbie question on tube amps

i just bought a vintage ampeg v-4. i have a peavey 4x10 cabinet and a peavey 1x15 cabinet, will this head push both of them at the same time? right now i have the 1x15, the 4x10 is at the band room. Also if you run both cabinets, does it split the signal, or does it put 100 watts into each cabinet?

The vintage V4 will do 2 ohms (look for a switch in the back) and if those are 4 ohm cabs, you will be fine. If those are 8 ohm cabs, switch it to 4 ohm and youll be fine. :)

Yes, it will give both cabs the 100 watts. A great head which is very versatile!

Im not sure if ALL the 70's V4's had a switch for ohms, but mine did (76 model).
