hey all I just got a hamer bass really don't know much more than that Bout it are they decent basses and how do i Find out what kind of model it is. it says cruise at the top of the neck sorry for the possibly dumb question

Some of those Hamer Cruise basses are awesome and some are ok beginner basses. If you post pics it will help figure out what you've got.

Brand = Hamer

Model = Cruise

Btw, the "top of the neck thing" is called the headstock. If you want more information, check and see if there's a serial number, probably on the back of the headstock or maybe the neckplate. Hamer may have a list of their serial #s on their website (or available if you email them) to tell you exactly when and where it was made.

Afraid I don't know anything about the Cruise. If it feels right in your hands and you like the sound of it -- it's a good bass. That's all there is to it.
