Newbie says hello!

Hi, I'm Ramzi, 57 yo and producing rumble since 1981.. Though if I'm honest, I've been out of the game for some 15 years now. Currently living in northern Norway, after emigrating there with wife and kid (2nd one arrived in the meantime) from the Netherlands, where I was born and raised, almost 5 years ago.
Since purchasing my first Jazz Bass clone in 1981 - still own it, though highly modified with Schallers, Badass bridge, a Big Bertha humbucker pu and a spraycan paintjob back in the day :woot:- I have had the pleasure of owning and using several basses, ao Squier Precision - a nice early one - , Hofner semi acoustic, Hofner Club (Les Paul brother of the violin bass) and a very heavy graphite neck MM Cutlass. But the first JB clone is the only one I have now.
Always been a Fender Bassman 100 sound man, had a couple of them, with different type of speaker stacks. Last amp though was a serious Ampeg tube amp top with a beautiful flycased cabinet, am ashamed cause I don't remember the model right now..
Anyway, getting back in the game and loving it. Just practising to get the hands and fingers less rusty now, but who knows what the future might bring.
Meanwhile looking out for a nice 2nd bass and maybe I have found something worth the while.
And being here, I'm sure there's a lot for me to learn about of course and maybe even add to the conversation.
Thanks for accepting me!
