I experienced some G.A.S. beginning about 20 years ago. It's time for me to stop noodling around and get more serious about learning the fretboard and reading music. I'm impressed with the TalkBass forums I've seen so far, which will surely assist me with these goals. I was never a gigging player, but I do enjoy hearing of the fun and exploits bass players have had while on the road or in their bands.
