Knowing this was coming out - I unloaded my deep impact for $780 Aussie on ebay and placed an order with Basspeople for the first batch at $540 Aussie ... bargain!!!

ive seen him twice..he never impressed me when i saw him live. but on those old records he was on fire..

his band was absolutely awfull at this years gathering of the vibes..i mean, awfull. flat out mistakes, guitarist watching his hand for chord changes..:rollno::rollno: what a shame..

Godlyke should be getting them within a week so Tone Factor should have them soon after that. I generally go through TF for anything I can, but my fear would be that Godlyke would presell it's entire first run and wouldn't have any to send to secondary distributors.

After all, I doubt the second run will show up until 2009.

I have a feeling Godlyke won't have any this week from what I've heard so all those waiting by the inbox waiting for the OS is here email I think you'll have a longer wait to go. But I hope I'm wrong.

Ok apparently Godlyke ship direct to the dealers first and then whatever is left gets sold direct for MSRP which is like 20% more so the usual effect routes should still apply for this beast.

I don't know about that. As of last Thursday, Richard said they only had four more to build and test before shipping them to Godlyke and that they'd burn the midnight oil to have it done by Sunday.

I've never seen him by himself, but I used to do Phish tour and always loved it when he would switch on the Deep Impact for a solo - I'd like to hear what he does with Phish with an OS, so maybe next March at the Coliseum... then again, one step at a time - I probably won't make the lottery for mail order, though my luck tended to be pretty good back in the day :hmm:

I got this email on September 19th when looking into pre-ordering from Godlyke...


According the Chunk AU, they will be ready to ship us 25 units next
week.
Allowing a few days for transit and customs clearance, I think we
should
have the first batch during the first week of October.

We are pushing the pre-orders to the front of the line, so you'd get
your
unit before a store that simply has an inventory order in. Right now
that
would mean that you'd get a unit out of the first 25 piece order.
However,
that window is quickly closing, so if you want one fast then now would
be
the time to order.

The first shipment of the OS came in last night around 7pm to Bass People!
They look awesome...and more orange than red :hyper:

Will be shipped asap to all you lovely guys and gals who were in the first batch of pre-order of sales!,
those of you who ordered will get a new email soon asking to pay for the remainder of the OS,
Once the money is cleared we will ship!
