News on Chunk Systems Bass Synth

My guess (especially based on the US prices of the other Chunk stuff) would be $450.
If it runs for $350 I'd buy it. It sounds like it will be an all-in-one deal so it would be like having an analog POD or something like that (minus amp/cab models).
My thinking is that if the Brown Dog and OOFunk Mk II sell for $260 and both of those circuits are used in the synth, not to mention an octaver, synth waveforms and a digital brain, that it's going to be fairly costly.
I'd love to be wrong though.

+1. I wouldn't expect them to be any less than $500, but I would LOVE to be suprised.

I just fired off an email to Chunk to see if they had an idea of what the street price will be. I'll let you know if I get a response.
As for me, I've always thought the best thing about the 00Funk and the Brown Dog was that you could get some really cool, synthy sounds out of them. Like say, Invalid Link Removed or Invalid Link Removed.
I have high hopes for this pedal. In fact I hope it's better than the Deep Impact, which I have to say was a bit of a disappointment during my brief time with it.

I'm so excited about this pedal but if it's over $400 I will have to wait to try and buy a used one. I don't think that because it has elements of two pedals that cost $260, it should cost $520. If you buy a Brown Dog and an Agent, you are buying two chassis', each with their own set of knobs, jacks and switches. While this pedal has a lot of features (almost like a multi), it's still one pedal. I'm hoping for something in the $350 range.
This question has me wondering though... what is the most expensive NEW pedal ever? The most expensive one I know of is the Z. Vex RingTone ($370). I think pretty much all the Z. Vex effects are overpriced though, maybe I'm just cheap.
Edit: I take that back, I forgot about the Dirty Boy pedals which start at $375 and make their way up to $525.

Well, the Toneczar Invalid Link Removed is $795 new. And his trem and phaser are $345 and $375 respectively.
The Pigtronix Echolution is $470 and the Moog Bass MuRF is $400.
Those are just off the top of my head. It seems that delays and synth pedals seem to be fairly expensive. Especially from a boutique manufacturer whose other pedals are priced higher than average for their respective effects. I certainly don't see the Octavius competing with the EHX Bass Micro Synth ($270) in terms of price.

One of the things that is interesting about the OS, and I am sure will drive the price up, is that you can change the effect routing.
Pedals here are stupidly expensive anyway. I'm going to wait til I hear some reviews but if it does everything I've heard so far and does if well I'll pay whatever price they put on it!
