Newtone Strings Anyone?

[Maiden Bass]

I did a search and found very little about Newtone Bass Strings (made in UK).

Anyone on here use them or try them recently?

I just ordered two sets (nickel and steel hex core Diamond Series) and wanted to get some opinions please!

I guess they are not super popular in the US, but more so in Europe.

Any opinions about tone, feel, longevity and consistency would be greatly appreciated!

I have not played them but have heard the roundcore versions are supposed to be similar to Sunbeams...

Must investigate these.
I see them being compared to various DR types (Fat Beams and Sunbeams, for their stainless steel and nickel types of round core ones) and in the UK they are quite a bit cheaper too

I don't know about their bass strings, but their Gypsy Jazz acoustic guitar strings were the bees knees!
