OK, so we won't take over the NFL thread, here's a place for fantasy discussion.

I'm on the fence about replacing Eddie Lacy with the Eagles' Wendell Smallwood.

My Team - Free Fantasy Football - NFL.com

I've got about a B-level team, I think. I'm in a family league with 12 players - placed 3rd last year with Aaron Rodgers and Ezekiel Elliott leading the group.

Week one is touch - no track record for that week, and preseason is almost meaningless except for injuries.

By the way, I would drop one of those mediocre receivers for Smallwood before I would drop Eddie Lacy. Receivers are much easier to come by as there's usually three on one team at any given time that can light it up, and there are a lot less running backs.

I have more faith in Hill at this point, of course I may be wrong. Lacy out, Smallwood in and starting Game 1.

I don't actually follow many teams closely. My 12-person league is located in Seattle and Denver, so those teams get picked over fast. Along with Green Bay, they are the three teams I know best. I try to read the threads on the NFL site every week to look for ideas.

Grab Wendell Smallwood while you still can, his offensive coordinator says that he is a true three down back. Yes, the Garrett blunt may take away some carries but I think that you should still see a carry total in the range of 225 or so maybe 250.

Well my last league draft is done. I feel good about 3 and decidedly MEH about one ( I had to auto draft it due to work... It's a keeper league so, next year :) )

This is my longest tenured Keeper league. I like my chances this year. I'm rolling the dice on Ebron since he is my back up I feel ok with his injury/upside risk. I have a decent stable of break out young talent and a good core of keepers ( 4 in this case ).

I have Eric Ebron also. He could finish top five if he stays healthy. But, it's a big risk of course. Lions also lost a couple big receivers so the experts are saying he'll be counted on more in the red zone, that is, if the Lions can actually get there.

I like your team funky, I think the key is going to be if Cooper can get some touchdown passes, he's been deficient so far in his career. It would be nice to see him get at least 8 or 10 instead of 4 or 5.

Yeah I picked him up last year in the hopes he would take over but it didn't pan out. I have good WR depth so if he is still the same guy by the end of this year I'll drop him and hope to redraft him since he is consistent and on a team that passes efficiently ( or is trying to )

I have Brees starting at QB and just dumped Andy Dalton to pick up Jared Goff as a backup. Dalton may turn it around, but right now he's fantasy dog poo. I think Goff will be a decent sub for Brees during the bye week. Otherwise, I'll probably leave him on the bench. He does show signs of generating points, so it will be interesting to watch him.
