I think Trent Dilfer is a free agent.

He can at least hang onto the ball! Interesting....

Hey, I don't like him. He's hurt all the time. @Funky Ghost is the one going on and on all the time about how great he supposedly is.

As you may remember, he took over as the starting QB (replacing Tony Banks) in Baltimore early in the 2000 season and led them to a Super Bowl victory. Excellent example of a game manager QB.....You don't have to win the game Trent, just don't lose it.

So was Captain Hair-do but he is still counted as a great Steeler

He's also 44 and hasn't played a down since 2007. He'd be a tackling dummy.Absolutely. I think he's the prototype of the game manager QB.

Hell, if Don Strock could come straight off a golf course and win a huge game against the Oilers back in the day, Dilfer could do it too!
And meanwhile in Denver Coloradio, Trevor Semian is starting game #3. Much analysis points to the assumption that it's his job to lose, and da rookie Paxton Lynch may be #2. Sanchez has lost the handle on the ball too many times, and there is speculation he may get cut if Lynch looks like a viable backup.
Lotsa QB drama here. I feel for Sanchez, as he has worked really hard to fit into Denver, but he does seem to manage to lose the ball too often. The Broncos are going to be built around defense, and the QB has to mostly protect the ball and avoid mistakes.
Yep. I can't stand the Cowboys, but I feel bad for Romo. It'll be interesting to see how Dak does in the regular season.Tony Romo is going to be one messed up dude when he retires.
