NFL tomorrow!!

Woo-hoo! Actually I'm not as excited about tomorrow's opener as I am about the Cowboy's opener vs. the Vikings on Sunday. I went to the Cowboys vs. Titans preseason game last week and they were looking pretty good considering they're not really wowing me with their quarterback lineup. Keyshawn Johnson was catching anything in his general direction and the offensive line was looking good. Eddie George didn't really do anything and they still won, and the same thing happened Thursday vs. the Chiefs so I'm thinking the Cowboys could be a force if he can get into a groove. They weren't looking awesome or anything but it seemed like they were just trying some things and doing the preseason thing.

Anyway.....woohoo!

I watch football to relax and hang out with fellow fans. The great thing about football is the season is only 17 weeks long. Long enough to slake my football need, and short enough that I'm ready for the new season when Fall comes around.

I have plenty of things I could do as well, but I'll just do those in the time I used to be in school / doing homework now that I've graduated. :hyper:

Besides, how could you complain about the time football takes up if you really like the LA Dodgers? Don't they play about 162 games per year? That seems like a lot more watching then 17 weeks of football. But that's just me (and you said you didn't watch anyway).

I love football. I played in school, I've coached youth league teams, played all kinds of city league ball,, I LOVE IT.

Not just the NFL, or NCAA, we go to High school games, & we even watch the Arena league. We'd probably watch the CFL too, if we got it that is.

All I have to say is...

Go Bengals!
Go Buckeyes!
Go Pickerington Tigers!
&
Go Packers, for the Missus!

I dig watching the CFL from time to time. The 'no fair catch' rule and 3 downs instead of 4 definitely picked up the game's pace.

What I love about football is that there are only a few teams I dislike, and I like alot of teams (unlike baseball, where I hate every team that isn't the houston astros)

Go Seahawks! Methinks 2004-05 is the year of Matt Hasselbeck.

Go Ravens!
