Yeah, robb, a lot of people don't know how fargin' great players from these "no name" schools are. Marshall is almost always fantastic and Toledo is no slouch either.........look at a program guide at an NFL game and you will see those players who list those schools as alma maters.

The other one I've been pushing for years is fargin' Fresno State..........these guys are like a track team in football uniforms. They smoke..........when it comes to speed.

And I think the NFL is eventually getting back to physically fit players on defense who burn because these obese-freak offensive linemen can't handle them....(i.e., my hometown team's All-Pro Orlando Pace, got raped by the Falcons' linemen this last weekend).

Well my Vikes give away another game (with help from the officials).:scowl:

4th and goal on the 1. The NFL's #1 offense goes for a FIELD GOAL?!?
Cullpepper gets a requisite fumble on the 1 yard line.
A Cullpepper touchdown is negated due to HOLDING!

As if that weren't enough, the officials totally blow it on that Owens "touchdown".
Not only did he never have possesion (check the replays folks), but even if he had caught that ball, the ball was a good half a yard short of the goal line when his knee hit.

Considering how badly the Vikes defense played, the Eagles were damn lucky (including the Owens fiasco) to get the points they got.

Face facts-
Eagles rule.
Vikings suck.





The thing is I have Culpepper in my 'real' Fantasy League(i.e. not Jazzbo's 'unreal' Fantasy League).
I'm glad I already had my game clinched 'cause I would be fuming today with all of Culpepper's close calls. How does he not score on that play before the first FG?! Then he fumbles on another at the 1-yard line?! Now you're telling me he had one called back?! Geez.

No. Mike Tice blew it. After the first replay I saw it wasn't a touchdown. I'm shouting at the TV, and my girlfriend's starting to worry about me. Mike should've thrown the red flag in. He didn't catch it, his bad.

No. I've been on the sidelines at football games (including a couple of pro games, including a Vikes/Saints game) and that play would have been almost impossible to see from Tice's position. The ones who blew it are the replay booth officials and Tice's own people upstairs. They're ultimately supposed to be the ones who can see and catch that stuff.

There's a lot of truth in Gard's statement, IMO, that you see in US corporations these days - we keep changing the "big dogs" and don't give them a chance to re-build after other teams have siphoned off some of their most talented players.

It all comes back to the hackneyed, but "oh so true", euphemism I learned early on as a ball player - "Offense sells tickets. Defense wins games."

Look at my hometown Rams and their fallen "genius", coach Martz ---- garbage!!!!

Actually, BALANCE wins championships, you must stop the other team, then score more often than they do. That's why the Pats are so good, they're VERY balanced.

As for Martz and the "greatest show on turf", well....I was never that impressed by the Ewes, after a few seasons, the Saints figgered 'em out - smack Kurt Warner every time he takes a snap, he gets rattled, put a "spy" on Faulk, and then they're done. I loved the '00-01 season, when we beat them soundly two weeks in a row, last game of the season, first of the playoffs.

I hate WUSSY football, all that fast fancy footwork stuff, HIT SOMEBODY!
