NFL tomorrow!!

Wow. I don't know about this Dallas thing (haven't seen the replay). But, man, that 49er game was flat out depressing. I know I've been spoiled, but I've never seen such a lame offence wearing red and gold. We showed signs of life when Dorsey was in there. But what was goin' on with that 2pt. conversion? Rattay could've WALKED that in!!! GAAAH!!! This is gonna be a loooong season....

OMG, is anyone watching the Cowboys game?! Did you see that Aussie holder screw up and then try and throw the ball Austrialian rules style?! I hate to see the Cowboys screw up like that but that was friggin' hilarious.

Wow...

Yeah Baby!
Once again:
GO VIKES!!!

That said, the Dallas field goal debacle was really funny.
When have you ever seen a holder called for "Intentional Grounding"?!?!:eyebrow: :D

Did anyone get to SEE the NYJets vs Bengals game? Curtis Martin runs for 199 yars??? ***... Was the Bengals D THAT BAD, or was Curtis Martin that GOOD???

Actually, it was 196 yards. Also, the Bengals D was that bad, AND Curtis is that good. Apart from the opening fumble :eyebrow: , the Jets looked pretty good. Hell, the Bengals looked pretty good, too. If the Jets pass defense can find a groove, they'll have a pretty damn good year. Next week--the Chargers.

The Falcons/49ers game was pretty ugly. Vick looked good considering the number of snaps he took in the preseason, but they obviously have some work to do getting the defense to show up. The 49ers looked better than, I think, anyone expected them to, though. I'm not quite sure why Dorsey isn the backup.

I got the Sunday Ticket this year for my Law School girlfriend (huge Jets fan), and I have to tell you--it's hard watching three+ games at one time. It looks like I'll be moving the second TV into the living room every Sunday for the next 4 months. :D

Oh, just you all wait until tonight when the Packers completely humilliate the defending NFC champions...

maybe...

I don't see either team humiliating the other tonight, should be a fairly evenly matched game. I am having a hard time picking a team to root for in this one: I really like Delhomme (cajun boy, gotta like him), but the Panthers are a division rival; I can't STAND Farve (dumb redneck can't even spell or say - pick one - his name correctly! :p ), so it's almost impossible for me to root for the Pack.

I'm gonna predict a close Panther's win. (After yesterday, I gotta get ONE right, hm? :spit: )

As much as I dispise Green Bay, I'm going to have to pull for them tonight. A Panthers loss would keep the NFC Central balanced. Atlanta would be the only team with a win in itso they'll be in 1st, everyond else would be tied for 2nd. I can handle that.

Won't matter for the Yucks this season. At least the Aint's do have an offense...somewhere in there....if it wakes up, they'll be a force.

NFC South:

1) Panthers
2) Saints (the offense WILL wake up)
3) Falcons
4) Bucs (NO offense)

Don't think the Pack can pull it out against the 'Cats, not enough huevos up there anymore. 'Sides, I can't stand to see "Farr-vuh" win.

Carolina better do well, my fantasy game requires it. :D

My NFC South predictions

1. Carolina (preseason games don't mean alot...but seriously, they went 4-0, just like last preseason)
2. Falcons
3. Aints ;)
4. Bucs

Hey, you're the one I"m playing against Jake, huh? Man, Edgerrin's two fumbles really killed me. He would have scored on those plays, so we're talking a 16 point difference. Wow!

I hope that Green Bay puts 30 on Carolina's D so I eek out the win.

All of my benchers did better than my starters! In theory, I should be winning, no question :p

As long as Carolina can sneak out a measly 6 points, I win. :p

What killed me was Jamal Lewis and Jimmy Smith. Lewis gave one of his poorest performances in his career.
