NFL Week 11

Ahem... this is a post I stupidly put in the Week 10 thread.

Wow!

The final score of the Bears-Panthers game does not adequately show how awesome that game was.

The bears downright demoralized the Panthers. I mean, the defense was downright monstrous. I had my reservations about my beloved Bears, but they've proved they can beat one of the top teams in the NFL and completely shut down their offense.

Jazzbo made a thread before the season started about the Bears being the next champions. Maybe he's more prophetic than we realized.

Amen brutha.

I need a throw up emoticon. Especially right after an excellent win by PSU yesterday.

Did Maddox play? If so, I told you. :D If not, well, consider it the pain of being a Steeler fan. Not that I have room to talk, my Colts were merely decent today and my affinity for the Falcons has started to change to morbid fascination on seeing how they will blow win-able games.

Seriously, I've seen highschool QB's that are more comfortable in the pocket than Maddox is. Colts are going to dominate Pit if Big Ben or the other guy (Bosch? Watt? I can't remember) do not play.

Batch. ;)

You're right though, if Maddox starts, the Colts should beat my beloved Steelers easily. Maddox was never particularly good, but it seems as if he's just completely fallen off the cliff, both in his decision making (which was always questionable) and arm strength. Maybe the loss of arm strength is an aftereffect of that injury he sustained last year, I really don't know. In any case, he's no longer roster-worthy, and come next year, he probably won't be in Pittsburgh anymore.

Denver massacred the Jets..... watch out Manning.

The Colts-Bengals game had me on the edge of my couch, never thought i'd cheer for the Bengals! :D Oh well , the streak will end , but of course the more they win, the cockier they are and when they get in the post season against Denver the more brutal it will be when Jake Plummer turns Manning into his whipping boy. :D ( I was born in Denver, I have a reason to be this psycho :D )

Colts - Seahawks, im waiting on that one too.

Wow, the Broncos beat a team with a 57 year old quarterback with a passer rating average of 8. Way to go. Look out Peyton.

I can totally see you pulling a mid-air high-five with whoever you were watching the game with. :D Yeah.

Im gonna be honest with you though. If the Colts go undefeated in the season then they will definitely be AFC champion. Thats why Im hoping Seahawks or Pitts gets em . Cause if their streak is ended then there is a strong chance Denver will kill em. After watching Denver for many years , I can tell you that they play badly against a very confident team and extremely well against a demoralized team . Just look at the superbowl of 98.

Pain? what are you talking about. I haven't had anything legitimate to complain about for almost two years. Maddox being the only thing that pains me.

The pain of a loss is known to all fans. Hence the pain of... :D

Mainly riding you because you are a Lizard fan and about million years ago I was a Seminole fan for no particular reason. It's my duty to hassle and berate any and all Cane and Gator fans.

Trust me the Steelers are much more fun to root for than MSU Bulldogs. I go into every game thinking about how awful our offensive will perform and guesstimating the quarter when our actually decent defense gives up the ghost on account of exhaustedness. :D

Possibly.

The main advantage Denver has is a great stadium to play in. Altitude and all.

But, but, but; an undefeated season will provide the Colts with home field advantage. And Denver will lose. :D

(Time to fall back on the secret/last ditch weapon.) Yeah well if Elway were still playing.......Wouldn't be no competition, colts would die.
