NFL Week #13

Gronk to have back surgery and is out for the season. Hopefully Marty can stay healthy.

Oh well. I think the Pats can survive this up to a point if they can remain relatively healthy, but that's a big IF considering some of the nagging injuries that key players have been fighting off and playing through. This ought to be interesting. All-of-a-sudden, Miami can see a light at the end of the tunnel. Go figure.

Absolutely, Miami and the rest of the AFC contenders. Certainly makes things more interesting, but like Belichick said when he missed the SF game: "we're used to it..."
Still sucks though!

If they made the 62 yard fg, Kubiak's a genius.
He gambled. McManus missed. Fourth and ten, could of punted. He didn't want a tie. It was the right call.
To quote Herm Edwards: "You play to win the game"

The big story is that Bennie Fowler may have cost them the game by running that late regulation time 76-yard pass into the end zone. Had he taken a knee at around the 10 yard line with 3 minutes remaining, Denver could have run the clock down to around 30 seconds and gotten three points and the lead out of the deal, putting Kansas City (with no time outs) in a world of hurt.

I count about three other decision-based ways Denver could have won that game.

Yes, it stings.

I routinely root against NE, but you can't be serious.

They win with Jimmy G. They win without Gronk. The Pats are not human, and not subject to the laws governing humans.

LOL. Patriots nation is about to commit mass suicide, but the rest of the football world seems to think that Darth Hoodie will employ the force and get it done regardless. I guess we shall see. This week, however, may not be a good barometer vs. the Rams. That said, the Pats will probably choke up a hairball and lose. LOL.

They won with and without Brady. Anybody wanna know what I think about Brady? Didn't think so...

If Garoppolo or especially Brisset replaced Brady, I wouldn't hate the Patriots near as much. Brady without Gronk won't be as scary as Brady with Gronk.

Two reasons to not like him.

Go Bucks! How 'bout that game! :D

If I'm honest it was "ok". Too many mistakes to be a "great" to my mind but for the rivalry I really enjoyed it. I think much like the NFL, college is better when certain teams are playing at a high level. Ohio and Mich. are just those kinds of teams I feel.

Wish it had turned out different, obviously :)
