A (converted) leftie 12 string resonator, which I've already converted back to righty:

Action's too high up the neck (needs a new bridge carved), piezo output is almost nothing and tinny, but all in all, a decent deal.

(Ed of H has a backburner project involving an old steel-bodied National Duolian that was run over one Sunday morning after being left behind the car in a late Saturday night load-in. The body was all that survived)

Well, that one has issues with the neck lifting, so it's going back to the builder for repairs. So in the meantime, I picked up his latest creation, just got delivered today:

Way easier to fret and play, and sounds huge - might be even louder!

I'm hoping to work my way into fingerpicking blues, open tunings, and better slide playing. But yeah, they both have a lovely shimmery sound, and both are very loud acoustically. The first one will be all better after a visit back to the builder, he says he knows just what it needs...

better than I could manage! I can dig it, Neil Young was always really shakey, also one of the guys from the Band.

Edit: I forget the name of the guy from the band, but honestly in his own way it was a very endearing voice.

I know who you mean (by voice sound), but not sure which one of them it was - not Robbie, one of the others.
