NHL 2K6 Pool

Hey!
I wasn't sure if anybody wanted to do one this year. I'm up to organizing it. We'll use the same rules as last year. I think, this time though, the penality for latecomers should be greater, or not allow latecomers at all.
I'll dig up the original thread rules and repost them here.
Last year I tried to do updates ever few days, but being busy with work, that may be more difficult. I should have been more realistic last year. I think I can manage at least one update a week if everybody is cool with that.

2 points for goalie win / 1 point for tie / extra 3 for shutout

Substitution of players will happen during the regular season break. Let's decide on how many players we will allow to be substituted? 1, 2? Substituted players points will only count after the break and you will keep the original players points until the break. ie: you drop Belfour at the break who has 40 points because he retires, and you pick up Brodeur who had 50 points at the break. You will receive Brodeur's points that accumulate after the break (after 50 points) and you will keep Belfour's original 40 points.

I'm in, if I get around to it. I usually play a few online pools... which brings me to my next suggestion: Why not register in a free online pool somewhere that allows groups, there has to be be one. That way we get all the trash talking and pooling fun without having to worry about the maintenance.

We could have yahoo fantasy league... thats almost like registering pool somewhere and talking trash... I mean it's 2/3 really... Can't beat that. Well you can with 3/3 but why?
I'm in, but it'll take me a while to put together a team. We could always try an FSN pool. I've been playing throughout the CFL season and they're awfully fun.

I've submitted my picks... I'd be up for 3 or 4 trades at the break if we're still discussing that rule.
I'm also enrolled in the Sportsnet and CBC pools as 'Nicoli' for anyone interested... I'd recommend the Sportsnet one as I thought it was well run and setup last year.

There are groups in the Sportsnet pool, so if anyone wants to enroll (or is enrolled) I could set up a Talkbass group there as well. It's a salary cap style pool, pick 10 players, and you can change players on a weekly basis.
