I didn't realize he had already been in that role in Detroit for 17 years. Very impressive.

Wow good for him.
I can't wait until this new season most of the Kings team is the same but we lost big Willie Mitchell. The same team is not to say the Kings wil win it all again.
I'd like to see more Martin jones in goal he's good his problem is there's a guy named Jonathan Quick ahead of him.

The teams that got to the third round or beyond didn't really need to change much. LA Certainly didn't need to; why change what works? Chicago had a few additions and subtractions: scared to see how Brad Richards will fare with an already-deadly Hawks team. New York and Montreal...I don't keep up with the East as much; that's my goal this year and in the future.

Don't think the Bs changed much either. They should be fun to start watching

There's certainly a lot of talent it just has to come together w hard work good goalkeeping coaching teamwork little bit of luck
Kopitar and Quick are the biggest names theyre not exactly household names it's excellent teamwork
Now if they can get that out of the Lakers

Joe Thornton is stripped of the "C". Marleau stripped of the "A". Ohhhhh boy. I'm no Sharks fan but that's gotta suck for them.

I have a lot of respect for Logan Couture and Pavelski and I think they are strong candidates to deserve the "C". They just need to step up to the plate and do what it takes to win past the semifinals. Season record doesn't matter unless you go all the way. Hope they do it...just not at the expense of my LA Kings.

While I love Simmons and Couturier and am eager to see how Laughton develops this year I am horrified about the goalie situation. Just so inconsistent across the board from them. I'm interested in seeing what Bellemare brings to the table too.

I'm only going to one game this year. Dec 2nd. It's tough being a Flyers fan on the west coast :)

I think the Canucks made the biggest change overall. They're a different team now than last year or the year before. Complete rehaul of the management and finally tied up loose ends that MG left behind. Benning still has a lot of work to do but he's done a heck of a job over the summer.

Saku Koivu retired after 18 seasons. Anaheim just got a whole lot younger again.

Ryan Malone, a former Pen, signed a two way deal with the Rangers. Bummer news about his arrest in April, but hopefully he gets that sorted out.
