nice additions to effects loop

hello all. I have for a long time used these forums to educate myself on A LOT! I just wanted a current friendly thread about what some of you find to be a vital piece to your rack/pedal board/ effects loop.

I currently run an Acoustic B410 with an Ampeg SVT350 (i know its not a real svt but i do love it). Basses are a Fender blacktop precision and a SR505. I currently run a snark chromatic tuner into sansamp BDI programmable into the input of the SVT and then effects loop a BBE 382i. Im not looking to fill more rack space, just curious of what piece of equipment you tb'ers have found to be vital to your set up.

A few vital pieces for me, aside from my GK 1001 RB and neo 410 of course, is my B7K, very vital to me, VT, ODB3 and my fulltone OCD. These are the guys I use a lot. The B7K is my always on preamp and the VT is almost always in with it. Still toying with those two together but they are sounding quite good together. My ODB3 is on a lot as a slight OD and my OCD is my full on raunch machine.

Thanks Moore! I love my setup/rig. I don't think I'll be changing much for a while. I'm a pedal addict as of late so well see :hiding: the B7K is the absolute s**t!! It allowed me to get the sound I hear in my head out of my cab. For the most part anyway. I don't endorse it, I just really love my B7K. I feel more complete now :)

nothing wrong with that! its all about what you like when it comes to your rig :bassist: ive never done much with pedals but ill def try the b7k out

anyone else have a 'must have' they'd like to share...

Hey those Ampeg 350s are great heads, it's just that you can get about the same thing in smaller packages these days.
As far as your question I read someone mentioning running a sonic maximizer after after a compressor to replace some of the harmonics? It's an interesting idea.

i love mine! hasnt let me down. got is used for 300 from GC. been pretty happy with it. and yes i run a bbe 382 sonic maximizer in my effects loop. it really gives my tone some depth and character. best cost effective purchase ive made.
