Nick Hogan's real-ality

The point is...

The freedom of information is really worth it in cases like this. Had this info never been released, we would not know how situations really pan out. Behind the scenes..doesn't matter.

Think about how many cases DON'T make the six o'clock news and they will still affect us all. Try this example: Drunk driver kills motorist who was not a celebrity. Drunk driver's rap sheet is long. They get the minimum sentence and go to jail for a year.

Wouldn't you want people to know if this cat gets out...and drives again? Maybe this driver will try to sue the victim's family because the accident "wasn't his fault" or "he lost a year of his life, he deserves to be compensated..."

Sounds far-fetched? Not in this society. Unfortunately the PC society we live in offers two options: Don't offend anyone at all and If you offend anyone, you have to apologize to everyone.

As far as the victim 'being responsible' for riding in the seat w/o a belt in a race. Yeah, that WAS his responsibility. However, when YOUR friend turns out to be the driver of the vehicle...and you suffer the injury-I doubt you were a willing participant.

Yup. I'm not blaming Nick entirely, but he's not even of age yet, is he?
Oh, but we'll all be relieved that he was placed back in a group cell, out of solitary...whew. I was worried. This is still newsworthy for some reason...
