Awesome show by Nickel Creek with Mark Schatz in Roanoke, VA last night. We were stunned to see this amazing band get that much better after their return. Mark's bass playing was simply wonderful. Anyone who thinks bluegrass is just root five needs to check him out. He plays "all that stuff" my banjo player complains about. Some dismiss them as not true bluegrass but my response would be "damn that is something good". If you get a chance to see them you should.
