Howdy.
I have already read the current flatwound threads, and done a search, but didn't find any solid info.
I'm wondering if anyone knows af a 'definately-for-sure' nickel flat, other than TI (a little thin for me). I'm looking for a medium gauge. I'm seeing some conflicting information when I get out there on the net. I've even seen Chromes referred to as 'nickel. but they're polished stainless.
I have another question. Currently I'm using LaBella DT Flats, med. gauge. LaBella says they are not suitable for stringing through the body. Has anyone run into this with other flats, or is it just a LaBella thing?
Until this past July, I had been away from the bass for a very, very long time, so I'm trying to catch up.
Thanks.
