So I was thinking about refinishing my highway jazz in nitro, but after doing lots of reading, it seems like there might be a problem with nitro and sweat.
I sweat a LOT. to the point where my right forearm easily slips around the edge of the bass during my set.
Does anybody have any opinions or experience with nitro and sweat?
I'm thinking I might have to get a poly finish then, but I'm not exactly sure where to look, or if I can even do it myself. One of the reasons why a refinish was feasible was because it's definitely affordable using supplies from re-ranch. I know its more difficult using poly, so i'm not sure how practical it would be doing it myself. Where are some really cheap places that can do a solid color poly refinish?

Yuck! Dude, you sweat that much??? Maybe have a huge fan blowing on you...
I find that the only "sweat spot" that touches my Hwy 1 bass is on the back where the bass and my body touch. No problems detected so far.
