NJ4-SV vs NJ4-SE; help!

Here's the issue. I've got a set of NJ4-70s in a high end modern J-style with a Sadowsky pre. The 70s have amazing low end, but they're kinda noisy and I'm not getting as much punch in the live mix as I'd like.

I'm leaning towards the Nordy hum-cancelling sets; has anyone had experience with both? Do they keep that gorgeous low end? Which one has better punch live? Thanks

I don't have experience with both, but I do have a set of SEs in an MIM Jazz. You can definitely hear a low-mid bump and smooth highs. In my estimation, I couldn't have made a better choice for that bass.
