NM(ic)D score- AKG Perception 220

Not a bass, but still a score... ;)

Picked up an AKG Perception 220, the original blue one, with case and shockmount for $28 out the door yesterday. It's a pretty good sounding mic so far on voice, apparently it's good on a variety of sources...

Any users here have any tips on usage?

Well, so far I've used it on male and female spoken word, male vocals, and acoustic bass, and it's really good. It seems fairly unhyped and accurate, with a slight dip in the bass and a slight rise on top.

I think it's worth at least what I spent. ;)
