So far I am liking this, ran a rehearsal with it last night all good,

I haven't quite sorted out "shows, and Snapshots" and how to use those via Mixing station however,,

But the touch screen, is VERY usable, a huge improvement over trying to do something on the X32 Rack controls.

I have not run the rack version, but the full-size version w/ touch screen is nice, but the unit is very deep, with drag-n-drop routing, EQ curve drawing, and confusing compressor and effect settings.
It’s NOT a console for the faint of heart!

The challenge for me was their changing terminology for inputs vs busses vs outputs. A little confusing.
However, for now, I’m staying w/ my X32R as I don’t do enough gigs to justify the WingR price.
I almost never use the front controls on the X32R - only in an emergency!

Let us know how it goes.. interested in your feedback/opinions on it.

I just switched from the Soundcraft Ui24R to the Wing Rack. I’ve always loved the Ui24, but the Wing is on a whole different level — way better sound, more clarity and punch. Even the other two folks who’ve mixed my band on the Ui24 noticed the upgrade right away.

That said, the Wing is deep. If you’re coming from something like the Ui24 or XR18, expect a learning curve. You can't just toss it in a rack and roll up to a gig without spending time setting it up and triple-checking your routing. My Ui24 is out for repair, so I had to take the Wing straight to a show with zero rehearsal. I spent a solid week getting to know it, and I still had a few things wrong. Luckily one of my bandmates is a pro sound engineer and helped untangle it.

The FX options are super flexible and powerful, and the gates, EQs, and comps all feel and sound like the real-world rack gear it's modeled after. Next up: running some multitracks through it so we can really fine-tune the mix and show file.

My inclination is clarity is better than x32 as well, this weeks gig is at a place that has its own Yamaha DXR15/Yorkville sub set up. So I wont be able to be super objective.
I agree, same w/ the effects, but it's not as if the X32R is a slouch.

Based on my multiple uses of the full-sized Wing, I concur with all the above.
The one feature I really love is the 2 custom layouts.
When one is a visiting SE with any church or band, they have inevitably grouped or aligned channels to where you end up constantly switch layers to adjust vocals (I don't use DCA's with multiple lead vocalists) of various lead instrument levels.
You can assign as needed (drag-n-drop) channels to the custom layer without messing with or changing their original config.
But yes, VERY DEEP console..

I am a number of shows in now, and I am starting to get the Wing Rack really dialed in, It is for sure a nice step up from my X32. I was in a bar with their own system this weekend that is set up to take "guest mixers" When the owner walked in he came up to me and complimented the sound right away.

So far I am keeping it fairly simply I more or less duplicated my X32 set up 1st, I am using different Tap points by-passing compression for Monitors, and have been utilizing the "trim" a bit, the ability to use different gates and compressors is fantastic,
